Emails were flying during early January as ex-Bully Wee Maartin Allcock announced his determination to team up with his old colleagues for at least a couple of their dates.  Maart is currently with Swarb's Lazarus and joined Ian, Colin, Jim and Fergus on acoustic bass for the latter part of both Hitchin and Nettlebed.

Since the very first Bully Wee Band reunion tour back in 2004, their appearance at Nettlebed Folk Club has been heightened by the guest appearance of old friend Phil Beer.  Thankfully no change this year except that...................

................... he brought his old partner Paul Downes with him this time.  Phil, Paul and the Bully Wees go right back to their floor spotting days as residents at Rod Hamilton's Hammersmith Folk Club in the early 70s.  The night at Nettlebed ended with yet another jam on 'When Mother Says Move' with a seven piece Downes Bully Beer Band involving Messrs Cutler, Reece, Yardley, Feely, Allcock, Downes & Beer.  Some job to mix that lot..................!!
